DATA MINING
Each report is stored in database format allowing easy data extraction (i.e. show me all the female patients over 50 that have hypertension and study was positive) not possible with dictation systems, or reporting systems that are stored in word documents.

Quite a few cardiology reporting systems have added a "web front end" to their products, thereby making their software "web enabled" not truly web based.
